A Break from Winter with a Summertime Palette

Feb 12, 2014 | Flowers, Nature, Palette

As much as I enjoy the change of seasons, sometimes I wouldn’t mind if Winter were a little shorter. That’s why I decided to go through some old photos and take a break from the Winter with this summertime palette.

I gathered these flowers this past Summer while back in the U.S. visiting my father. He has a small garden planted with a nice variety of whites, pinks, and purples. When I’m there, I love to explore the garden and see how many different ways I can combine whatever I find in bloom.

Now, several months later, I’ve had my fill of early nightfall and bare branches so I decided to take a little visual vacation in order to interrupt the browns and grays of February with some Russian Sage and Butterfly Bush. ┬áIt worked. All that’s left to do now is wait patiently for Spring to arrive.
